Spent my day out and about in Stavanger with my friend Ingunn today. It was probably the warmest day we have had this year, and the sun was out all day long. I’ve lived in Stavanger for almost 4 years now, but I don’t think I’ve really shared any photos from Stavanger here before. Maybe I was waiting for a nice and sunny day

I have been to busy (distracted) for bloging lately, so updates promised never came. Sorry.
Whale Wars – Viking Shores episode 1 aired yesterday on animal planet (US), so finally the wait is over I am at work at the moment, but as soon as I’m done for the day I am heading straight home to watch the episode

You were a quiet warrior, more worried about those around than the life you were losing.
You sailed the oceans, saw the world, though the best part was always coming home. To your family, the ones you loved more that life itself.
A quiet morning unfolded, and you travelled home for the last time.
In sadness, and in love, we said goodbye.
All there is left now for me to say to you is thank you.
Thank you for being the kind and loving, and strong and quiet, and so wonderfully funny uncle of mine.
